1. Acceptance of terms
By downloading, accessing or using Loafy ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Loafy. Users under 18 should have a parent or guardian's permission.
3. Your account
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for any activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) attempt to reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the App; (b) interfere with the App's normal operation; (c) use the App for any unlawful or abusive purpose.
5. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed through your app store account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and you can manage or cancel anytime in your app store settings. Refunds are handled by the app store under its own policy.
6. Loafy is a for-profit company
Loafy is a for-profit business, not a charity or nonprofit organization. Subscriptions and purchases are payments for access to the App. They are not donations or charitable contributions, and they are not tax-deductible. Loafy does not issue tax receipts.
7. Missions allocation
Each month, Loafy sets aside between 10% and 25% of its net revenue for missions: supporting full-time missionaries and ministry workers and the communities they serve.
"Net revenue" means the proceeds Loafy actually receives from app stores and payment providers for paid subscriptions, after refunds, platform commissions, payment processing fees, and taxes collected on Loafy's behalf. It is calculated before Loafy's own operating expenses, such as salaries, development, marketing, and hosting. The allocation is calculated on net revenue when it is received, not when a purchase is made.
Loafy selects the recipients and amounts at its own discretion. Purchasing a subscription does not entitle you to direct funds to a particular person or organization, and does not create any agency, trust, or fiduciary relationship. We may update this policy by posting changes on this page with a new effective date.
8. Spiritual content disclaimer
Loafy provides Bible passages, reflections and devotional content as a supplement to, not a replacement for, personal study, prayer, and your local church community. Loafy is not a substitute for professional spiritual, mental, or medical counsel.
9. Intellectual property
All content, branding, illustrations and code in the App are the property of Loafy or its licensors. You retain ownership of any personal reflections or notes you write.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Loafy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the App will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida.
